Civil Engineering Master's Programme will be established in 2023. |
In order to successfully complete the course phase of the programme, students must take at least 30 ECTS courses, one for each of the autumn and spring semesters. In order to successfully complete the master's programme, at least 120 ECTS courses must be taken in total. In order to be considered successful in the compulsory and elective courses taken at the course stage, it is necessary to get at least seventy (70) points out of one hundred (100) and to have a weighted grade point average of at least seventy (70) out of one hundred (100). In order to successfully graduate from the Master's programme, the thesis must also be successfully completed. Students who meet the requirements are awarded a master's degree in the field of CIVIL ENGINEERING. |
Master's Degree |
The requirements for applying to the Master's Programme are as follows: 1 - Bachelor's degree from acceptable fields 2 - Having the required score from the graduate entrance exam (ALES) 3 - Having sufficient language skills for English education. |
The process of recognition of prior learning in Turkish higher education institutions is still in its infancy. For this reason, recognition of prior learning has not been fully initiated in all programmes of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. |

Each student must register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and must have at least 70% attendance in the courses and at least 80% attendance in the practices in order to take the final exam. Students are subjected to at least 1 midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, short test, etc. can also be taken into consideration as midterm exam grade) to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. It is obligatory to get at least 45 points from the final exam. Students who receive one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) from a course are considered to have succeeded in that course. |
