The Department of Coaching Education and the Department of Coaching Education were opened within the School of Sports Sciences and Technology of our University with the decision dated 22.05.2017. |
Students who successfully complete all the courses in the Department of Coaching Education Program, which is equivalent to 240 ECTS, and have a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are awarded a bachelor's degree in the field of “Coaching”. |

Candidates take a special talent exam for admission to the Coaching Education Program. The score obtained from the Special Aptitude Test, YKS (Basic Proficiency Test) score, National Athlete Status and Sports Resume status are evaluated together and placement to the Program is made according to the calculated score. |
Exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic semester for some courses in the curriculum such as English. Students who think that they meet the expected learning outcomes of this course have the right to take the exams. Students who are successful in the exam are exempted from the English course in the curriculum. |
In order to graduate from the Coaching Education Program, students must meet the graduation and diploma requirements specified in Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulations and take at least 240 ECTS courses for four years. |
The language of instruction of the Coaching Education program is Turkish and the duration of study is 4 years. There are 30 ECTS courses each semester in the program. There are 158 courses in the program, 46 of which are compulsory courses, 20 of which are specialization courses, 44 of which are elective sports courses and 48 of which are elective theoretical courses. These courses include field courses, vocational courses and general culture courses. |

Accordingly, they determine evaluation and application priorities and plan training programs, taking individual differences into account. |
