Objectives of the Course | |||||
Solving problems and acquiring opportunities in animal breeding and nutrition by providing basic information about farm animal breeding, explaining the differences of conventional and organic breeding. To design transition stages of organic farming, to teach the planning of organic livestock farming. |

The importance of organic animal husbandry, problems of organic animal husbandry in Türkiye, the place of farm animals in the zoological system, domestication, cattle, sheep, goats, feeding, care, selection, reproduction, basic nutrients, digestive systems of farm animals and metabolism of nutrients and basic principles of general animal nutrition, classification of feeds and nutrition of ruminant animals. | ||
