Objectives of the Course
To teach students about the history of Turkish states that conributed to the constitution of Turkish national and cultural foundations, and their values in cultural and social areas and also help students to gain the necessary skills to use them in Tourist Guidance.

The beginning of Turkish history and the geography of Turkistan; the Great Hun Empire; I-II Gokturk States I – II ; Uyghurians, Kirgizians and the Turgish; East European Turkish Tribes; social, organizational, forensic, cultural and economical Structure in ancient Turks; Conversion of the Turks to Islam ; First Turkish States: Great Seljuq State; Culture and Civilization in first Turkish-Islamic States; The contact of Turks with Iran, Arabians and Byzantium and its outcomes.
