Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide a theoretical repertoire about understanding and resolution of the dominant forms of contemporary culture. In other words, the purpose is to provide students different conceptualizations about what culture and popular culture is, how it works in the process of globalization / transformed and how it is analyzed.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Areas of society can understand the relationship between culture-based reflection. PO-1 1. Can understand the basic concepts regarding the sociology programs.
PO-2 2.Can transfer and adapt what they have acquired in the field of Sociology to other disciplines.
PO-4 4. Can have the skills to define, model and solve the sociological problems in the field of Sociology and related fields.

Course Contents
The course is about sociologically searching the cultural "atmosphere". During the course, special emphasis will be given to (cultural) the process of globalization and popular culture, and it will try to form a multi-dimensional perspective about cultural.
