Objectives of the Course
To prevent by determining the risks related to nurses and patients to gain knowledge, attitude and skills about ensuring the safety of nurses and patients.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the basic concepts related to employee safety. PO-3 3. Knowing vocational ethics and legal values and performing a service according to them.
PO-7 7. Being able to make group work on indisciplinary and interdisciplinary.
PO-8 8. Being able to organise social responsibility activities that will contribute community development and take part in it.

The concept of nurse / patient safety, Regulation on ensuring employee and patient safety, Professional and legal responsibilities in medical errors, Medical errors and their causes, Notification and management of medical errors, Effective communication in ensuring patient safety, Prevention of errors due to restrictions / transfusions of drugs / blood and products, Patient safety in specialized units, Safe surgery, Prevention of falls / infections, Event reporting and analysis techniques in patient safety.
