Objectives of the Course
The main aim of this course is to equip students with main principles of nutrition and ability to implement nutrition regarding the requirement for nutrition in case of illness.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Comprehend the definitions and principles of nutrition, nutritional elements adequate and balanced nutrition. PO-1 Elder care and access to basic scientific knowledge, assessment, and has to apply the knowledge.
PO-3 The basic level of knowledge and skills acquired in the field of elderly care, and evaluates the data using the comments, problems, identifies, analyzes, and the solution takes place for the planned studies / take responsibility.
PO-4 The old and the physical, mental, and social change defines, in accordance with the requirements of the care that gives directions.
Examination
LO-2 Determine the needs for nutrition during the old age and evaluate the elderly care process. PO-3 The basic level of knowledge and skills acquired in the field of elderly care, and evaluates the data using the comments, problems, identifies, analyzes, and the solution takes place for the planned studies / take responsibility.
PO-4 The old and the physical, mental, and social change defines, in accordance with the requirements of the care that gives directions.
PO-5 Elder care about the data collection, interpretation, and publicizing the results of the implementation stages of the social, scientific, cultural, and act in accordance with ethical values.
PO-9 Elder care practices related to the health care team members to solve complex problems encountered and unforeseen will cooperate with.

Course Contents
This course includes the information on the main principles of nutrition for an elder person and on how to regulate one’s diet regarding the drug-nutrition interactions.
