Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to give knowledges about environmental pollution and control methods

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Students will have knowledge about environmental pollution and its current situation PO-1 Have an advanced level of knowledge about the recent and best practices in Biology, deepen and expand their knowledge on the expert level, conduct and assess the analyses by employing statistical methods
PO-2 Plan experiments and carry out original researches in the field by making use of the theoretical and practical knowledge at the expert level that they have obtained in their field
PO-5 Evaluate the knowledge and skills in a critical way in every activity regarding the field, thereby guiding their learning

Classification and definition of pollutants, Water cycle in universe, Basic terms of water pollution, Significant water pollutants and their effects on living creatures, Water Pollution Control Regulation, Air pollution and its reasons, Air pollutants and their effects on living creatures, Soil pollution, Effects of agricultural actions on soil pollution, Solid wastes and regulations, Effect of sanitary landfills on water, air and soil pollution, Examples of on-site minimization methods of wastes, Noise pollution and control
