To introduce the concepts and methods of multivariate analysis and to provide exercises in the application of multivariate data analysis to related problems..

LO-1 Apply knowledge of Multivariate Statistics . PO-12 Become skilful at maths, econometrics and statistics, making more effective decisions with econometric and statistical analysis. Furthermore, they are capable of predicting the outcomes of these decisions and interpreting the cause and effect relation.
PO-15 Use modern methods and technologies of business administration including analytical thinking and information technology in the first instance
PO-18 Use research methods and techniques for writing a thesis or doing scientific research.

Course Contents
Multivariate data analysis and its application areas, data matrices and measurement scales, the multivariate normal distribution (MND), inferences about a mean vector, comparisons of several multivariate means, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, logistic regression analysis, Principal component and factor analysis, Canonical correlation, multidimensional scaling.
