Objectives of the Course
Making students understand basic concepts and subjects of international economic integration theory. Making students master the subjects related to international economic organization and interpret on these subjects

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain Theory of Integration PO-1 have information about basic economic topics and indicators.
PO-3 have information about the reasons and results of transition that take place in economics
PO-9 have ability on commenting current economic issues considering economic theory in the view of sociology.

LO-2 Can tell about economic integrations that Turkey participated in PO-14 have ability to respect different religions, life styles and question the information in the view of scholar idea.
PO-18 can refresh information and ability, global economic developments demand, recognizing his/her professional ethic and responsibilities.

Course Contents
The concept of economic integration. Effects of and success conditions of economic integration. Theory of economic integration. Integration in goods-services and factor markets. Policy harmonization. Regional integration experiences, NAFTA, WTO, globalization and regional blocks. Economic integration movements that Turkey participated in.
