Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of the course is to provide information about the theoretical, conceptual and methodological perspectives of Turkish sociologists. Another aim of the course is to provide students with a reference point for the impact of these names on the shaping of contemporary sociology and the sociological analysis of Turkish society. |

Course Contents | ||
The course includes early Turkish sociologists such as Ziya Gökalp, Prince Sabahaddin, Mümtaz Turhan, Behice Boran. Examples of the works of these sociologists are given and their sociological approaches are discussed in detail. | ||
