Objectives of the Course
Teaching phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish with reference to Uyghur texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 (Students) comprehend the phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish with reference to Kokturk texts. PO-1 improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.
PO-3 make an efficient use of the resources in a relevant field of study based on their graduate level of qualifications.
PO-4 use the relevant research methods and techniques and have both theoretical and practical knowledge in their field of study.
PO-5 interpret, solve and produce new data by integrating the data obtained from both their field of study and different fields of study.
PO-6 use the knowledge they have obtained in their field of study in order to promote the level of education, culture and arts of the society.
PO-7 carry out independent studies requiring expertise related to their field of study
Examination
LO-2 (Students) are able to understand whether the texts belong to Uyghur period or not. PO-1 improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.
PO-3 make an efficient use of the resources in a relevant field of study based on their graduate level of qualifications.
PO-4 use the relevant research methods and techniques and have both theoretical and practical knowledge in their field of study.
PO-16 grasp the knowledge related to their field of study and make it public in line with the norms.
Examination
LO-3 (Students) notice the aspect of the phonetic and morphologic features of Uyghur Turkish separeted from Köktürkçe and modern Turkey Turkish. PO-1 improve and deepen their knowledge in the same or different field based on the graduate level qualifications in their field of study.
PO-3 make an efficient use of the resources in a relevant field of study based on their graduate level of qualifications.
PO-4 use the relevant research methods and techniques and have both theoretical and practical knowledge in their field of study.

Course Contents
Studying Old Uyghur Turkish alphabet, transcription of the texts written with this alphabet, transcription of these texts to modern Turkic, examination of these texts, and explanation of phonetic, morphologic and syntactic features of Uyghur Turkish.
