Objectives of the Course | |||||
To introduce the evolution and phases of the curiosity towards primitive cultures that began in Europe in the 16th century; to interpret the contribution of this approach to the causes and processes of folklore and to comprehend folklore studies with the theories and methods applied to the field. |

PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline. PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore. PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods. |
