Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to read and understand the Arabic texts and to enable them to read and interpret the texts.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the Arabic alphabet and the translation alphabet used for Ottoman. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-14 Participates related studies in the field.
PO-16 Performs interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Examination
LO-2 Recognize basic numbers, phrases, prefixes and suffixes in Arabic and Persian. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.

PO-16 Performs interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Course Contents
Teaching the Arabic alphabet, XX. YY. Reading and writing texts will be done. In addition, the basic grammatical rules of Arabic and Persian words will be studied.
