Objectives of the Course
To comprehend the foundations of faith of folk scientific practices defined as transition rituals, traditions, traditions and customs.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Students research the world and Turkey about the subject, the methods used in this research and obtain information about the characteristics of this study. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures.
PO-10 They can reach scientific results that can bring innovation to Turkish Folklore discipline through original academic studies.
Examination
LO-2 Bu konularda bilimsel çalışma yapma ve halk bilimi kuram ve yöntemlerine göre inceleyebilme yeteneği geliştirirler. PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures.
PO-12 Communicate professionally in the field of interest or by using oral and written communication opportunities with other sections of the society.
Examination
LO-3 Understands the principles of faith in folk scientific practices defined as tradition and tradition. PO-8 They will be able to analyze the basic elements of culture and to take an active role in the protection of the information channels that protect the identity of the society through their inferences.

PO-15 Monitors professional developments and contributes to these developments.

Course Contents
This course of transition rituals, customs, traditions and people identified as customs belief basis of scientific applications on them in the world and research in Turkey, the methods used in this research include defining the nature of this work.
