To be able to discuss and examine the basic concepts and approaches related to cultural economy and culture management, cultural heritage, experience economics, creative sectors, sustainable economic development, intellectual property, city brand. |

LO-1 | At the end of this course, students will be able to discuss and interpret the basic concepts and approaches of cultural economy and culture management, cultural heritage, experience economics, creative sectors, sustainable economic development, intellectual property, city brand, etc. from different perspectives. |
PO-7 They produce knowledge about society and use the information they produce in solving economic, social and technological problems. PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures. |

Course Contents | ||
This course provides a framework for the analysis of arts and cultural economy, local, regional and global culture and arts policies. The course includes the economic characteristics of cultural products, the functioning of the art markets, the design and economic effects of cultural policies, and the methods of financing the arts. For this purpose, different analytical approaches such as microeconomic analysis, welfare and growth theory, institutional economy and political economy will be used to examine cultural economy and art markets. | ||
