To teach the general characteristics, functions and characteristics of the tale type with examples. |

LO-1 | Understands the basic concepts and terms of fairy tales. |
PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline. PO-3 Learn the theories and concepts of folklore with the epistemological foundations and apply them to the materials they collect in their professional lives. PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures. |

General characteristics of fairy tale type, ground and social conditions they form, relations between fairy tale species and other genres, the execution of tales and general characteristics of the performers, and sample texts from tales which can be gathered under the title of Turkish tales in general. | ||
