Objectives of the Course
In this course, the concepts and approaches related to culture, folk culture, popular culture, mass culture, consumer culture, culture changes will be discussed and evaluated from the sample data and fields.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learns concepts and approaches related to culture in comparative cultural science, PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-5 Graduates of the Department of Turkish Folklore will be able to analyze the processes of creation, transfer and execution of folklore products and analyze the changes and transformations of public life.
Examination
LO-2 Explain folk culture, popular culture, mass culture, consumption culture and culture changes PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
