Objectives of the Course
Students will be able to learn about the village history games, village middle games, village theater, peasant representations, box games, playgrounds as well as game games, give information about the historical history of these games and make comparisons about the similarities in the world.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Learns the concept of theater. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods.
PO-18 Apply the theoretical knowledge about the field to the fields of education, research and society.
Examination
LO-2 Have information about traditional Turkish theater players and playgrounds. PO-5 Graduates of the Department of Turkish Folklore will be able to analyze the processes of creation, transfer and execution of folklore products and analyze the changes and transformations of public life.
PO-10 They can reach scientific results that can bring innovation to Turkish Folklore discipline through original academic studies.
PO-14 Participates related studies in the field.

Course Contents
To give information about the similarities and different aspects of the traditional Turkish folk theater genres, puppet, Karagöz, meddah, ortaoyunu and tuluat, history and general features, the emergence of species.
