Objectives of the Course
To be able to comprehend the type and shape problems in Turkish Folk Literature which is a part of oral culture tradition.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Understands the development of folk literature types in historical process. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods.
PO-6 They have a high level of knowledge about theories and methods in the field of Turkish folklore. They can approach problems in this field in a methodological and analytical way and offer solutions.
Examination
LO-2 Learns the problems related to the type and form of oral culture. PO-3 Learn the theories and concepts of folklore with the epistemological foundations and apply them to the materials they collect in their professional lives.
PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods.
PO-6 They have a high level of knowledge about theories and methods in the field of Turkish folklore. They can approach problems in this field in a methodological and analytical way and offer solutions.
PO-14 Participates related studies in the field.
PO-18 Apply the theoretical knowledge about the field to the fields of education, research and society.
