Objectives of the Course
To be informed about the works with prominent representatives of minstrel literature according to centuries with oral culture environment, tradition of minstrelsy and coffeehouses, groves and army poets.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Have knowledge about the concepts of oral and written cultural environment. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-5 Graduates of the Department of Turkish Folklore will be able to analyze the processes of creation, transfer and execution of folklore products and analyze the changes and transformations of public life.
Examination
LO-2 Understands the conditions of creation, transfer and propagation of minstrel literature products in the context of oral culture. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-5 Graduates of the Department of Turkish Folklore will be able to analyze the processes of creation, transfer and execution of folklore products and analyze the changes and transformations of public life.
Examination
LO-3 Have information about the sources of minstrel literature. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.

LO-4 Comprehends the relationship between minstrel literature and coffeehouse. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-8 They will be able to analyze the basic elements of culture and to take an active role in the protection of the information channels that protect the identity of the society through their inferences.
