Objectives of the Course | |||||
287/5000 Introducing the process and phases from the period when the idea of conservation of the cultural heritage was sprouted up, and interpreting the contribution of conservation thought to the studies of folklore, and re-discussing the studies of folklore in the light of the concept of preserving cultural heritage and the ways of conservation. |

LO-1 | With this course students will recognize pioneers of the concept of cultural heritage in Turkey and the world. |
PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline. PO-8 They will be able to analyze the basic elements of culture and to take an active role in the protection of the information channels that protect the identity of the society through their inferences. PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures. |

Course Contents | ||
The concept of cultural heritage will be examined in terms of international conventions and protection methods. The idea of preservation of cultural heritage and motivation, Turkey and developments in the world, will be discussed in terms of change. | ||
