Objectives of the Course
In particular, the culture of Turkish immigrants living in Europe will be studied and the changes and transformations experienced in the cultural elements of immigrants will be examined.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Have knowledge about Turkish communities living in European countries and Europe. PO-1 Graduates of Turkish Folklore Department have basic and general knowledge about discipline.
PO-7 They produce knowledge about society and use the information they produce in solving economic, social and technological problems.
PO-8 They will be able to analyze the basic elements of culture and to take an active role in the protection of the information channels that protect the identity of the society through their inferences.
Examination
LO-2 Language, religion, social norms, etc. comprehend the function and importance of institutions in carrying national identity. PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-7 They produce knowledge about society and use the information they produce in solving economic, social and technological problems.
PO-8 They will be able to analyze the basic elements of culture and to take an active role in the protection of the information channels that protect the identity of the society through their inferences.
Examination
LO-3 Have knowledge about the folk beliefs of Turks living in European countries. PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-7 They produce knowledge about society and use the information they produce in solving economic, social and technological problems.
PO-9 They will be able to use intercultural communication, gaining the necessary equipment to perceive and interpret different cultures.
Examination
LO-4 Students will be informed about the changes and transformations of Turkish people living in European countries. PO-2 Students will learn the basic theories and applications of folklore.
PO-4 They will have knowledge about the approaches and methods developed in folk culture and will be able to prepare and apply lesson plans and activities appropriate to these methods.
PO-7 They produce knowledge about society and use the information they produce in solving economic, social and technological problems.
PO-17 Performs compilation, observations and surveys in the field.
PO-18 Apply the theoretical knowledge about the field to the fields of education, research and society.
PO-19 It would develop a positive approach for learning all life long.
