Objectives of the Course
To teach the basic Vocational English in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Course Contents
Basic concepts in Vocational English, electrical units, measuring instruments, principles of direct current, direct current circuit analysis, batteries and resistors, principles of alternating current, inductive and capacitive reactance, alternating current circuit analysis, semiconductors, diodes and rectifiers, transistors and amplifiers, number systems, basic logic gates and simplification of logic circuits, combinational and sequential logic circuits.
