Objectives of the Course
Köy Sosyolojisinin kavram ve kapsam?n?, tarihsel geli?me sürecini ortaya koymak. Türkiye’de köy sosyoloji biliminin geli?imi, tarihsel sürecini tan?tmak. Köy sosyolojinin temel kavramlar?n? ve di?er bilim dallar? ile ili?kisini ortaya koymak. Toplumlar aras? ili?kileri, örgütlenmeleri ortaya koymak. K?rsal toplumlar?n ülke ekonomisi, kültürü içindeki yerini ve önemini ortaya koymak. K?rsal toplumlar?n aile, din, kültür, evlenme, yerle?im ve ya?am biçimlerini irdelemek.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain the main features of sociology in general, and in particular village sociology. PO-1 1-Have an advanced level of knowledge about the recent and best practices in Sociology, deepen and expand their knowledge on the expert level, conduct and assess the analyses by employing statistical methods.
PO-2 2-Plan experiments and carry out original researches in the field by making use of the theoretical and practical knowledge at the expert level that they have obtained in their field.
LO-2 Can explain the place and importance of rural sociology in the development of the country. PO-1 1-Have an advanced level of knowledge about the recent and best practices in Sociology, deepen and expand their knowledge on the expert level, conduct and assess the analyses by employing statistical methods.
PO-5 5-Evaluate the knowledge and skills in a critical way in every activity regarding the field, thereby guiding their learning.
PO-6 6-Are able to communicate in at least one foreign language in verbal and written terms on B1 level in the European Language Portfolio.
PO-8 8-Evaluate how the important personalities, events and phenomena that have made essential contributions to the development of Sociology that might have impact on their field of practice.
LO-3 Can discuss the social characteristics of rural areas. PO-4 4-Have the qualification and capability to gain admission to doctoral programs, R&D units or occupations related to the field with the knowledge they have gathered in the field.
