Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine the close relationship between ideology and economic thought. In this course, the mercantilist doctrine and the physiocracy and classical school within the liberal doctrine are examined in detail. In particular, these doctrines and schools focus on the analysis of capital accumulation.

Mercantilism, Physiocracy, The basic idea of classical economic analysis, Classical economic analysis, Man Smith, David Ricardo, J.S. Mill, Marxist economic analysis, Marginalist and maximization disciplines, Neoclassical theories of cost, supply and demand, Neo-classical theories of distribution, General equilibrium and welfare economics, Neoclassical theories of money and conjuncture, Neo-classical foreign trade theory, Keynesian macroeconomics theory.
