Objectives of the Course | |||||
In this course, it is aimed to give a short history of Sociology as a social science; to introduce different branches of sociology, founder sociologists (Comte, Durkheim, Weber etc...) and their sociological ideas; and to explain basic sociological terms (social structure, social groups, statue, role, social stratification etc...) and social institutions (family, economy, religion, politics, etc...) |
