Objectives of the Course
It is to learn the measurement tools and their properties used in education.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the basic concepts of measurement and evaluation. PO-14 Knows measurement and evaluation tools used in physical education.
Examination
LO-2 Knows the place and importance of traditional and alternative measurement and evaluation in education. PO-2 Analyses and interprets the results of applications in the field of sports.
PO-9 Employs the necessary tools for physical education applications.

LO-3 Knows the characteristics of traditional and alternative measurement and evaluation tools. PO-12 Has got the ability to use information technologies effectively, and follows the advances of the era.

Course Contents
Measurement tools and their features used in education; tools based on traditional approaches: Written exams, short answer exams, true-false type tests, multiple-choice tests, matched tests, oral exams; Tools for getting to know the student in multiple ways: Observation, interview, performance evaluation, student product file, research papers, research projects, peer assessment, self-assessment, attitude scales; Points to be considered in the evaluation of student success; assessment and grading of learning outcomes.
