Objectives of the Course
This course focuses on the theoretical analysis of the main issues and current problems related to gender and gender in the axis of equality and non-discrimination, enabling them to follow gender equality studies in Turkey and the world, and developing their skills to evaluate social life from an egalitarian perspective and develop behavior.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Defines and compares the concepts of sex and gender. PO-12 Elderly care about the issues that have the basic knowledge and skills, using the family, society and institutions, informs ideas and suggestions for solutions to problems as a pass written and oral.
Examination
LO-2 Explain the effects of gender on people's perception, attitude and behavior. PO-13 Living with a sense of social responsibility within the social environment will contribute to the project and activities.

LO-3 Explains the methods of legal struggle with gender-based violence. PO-17 Both the elderly and other segments of society communicate using verbal and written communication facilities.

Course Contents
This course aims to theoretically analyze the basic issues and current problems related to gender and gender in the axis of equality and non-discrimination, to enable them to follow gender equality studies in Turkey and the world, to evaluate social life from an egalitarian perspective and to develop their behavior development skills.
