Objectives of the Course
To introduce the culture and art values in city of Nevsehir from the past to the present. To explain the importance of faith and culture tourism in Nevsehir and its environment.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 It will tell the history of Cappadocia. PO-3 Apprehend the belief systems, historical development and process of human actions based on faith and religion within a global scale; appraise, analyze, examine these issues and generate solutions to problems with an unbiased, objective, scientific and ethical comprehension.
PO-13 Understand and critically evaluate social and professional ethical values and behave accordingly.
PO-14 Analyze, critically interpret and evaluate the knowledge and skills they have gained.

LO-2 Identifies the attractions and places of cultural centers of Nevsehir and its surroundings. PO-6 Understand and analyze the history and the importance of archaeological sites, buildings, sacred places, festivals, events and destinations representing various belief systems in Anatolia and throughout the world; and examine the cultural and social values of these places within the context of sustainability.
PO-9 Demonstrate theoretical knowledge required to start, run and manage a business which will operate in religious and faith-based tourism sector; and apply this knowledge into projects with initiative.
PO-15 Conduct a study on issues which necessitates expertise in the field of tourism both independently and with others.

LO-3 Understands the role and importance of the Nevsehir and its surroundings in the faith and culture tourism. PO-1 Understand, analyze and examine the contribution of tourism to peace and intercultural dialogue by taking the operational process of tourism industry and the roles of actors in the system into consideration; and generate solutions which can increase the contribution of tourism to reconciliation, sympathy and tolerance within societies.
PO-6 Understand and analyze the history and the importance of archaeological sites, buildings, sacred places, festivals, events and destinations representing various belief systems in Anatolia and throughout the world; and examine the cultural and social values of these places within the context of sustainability.
