Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide a historical background on the events of religious (faith) tourism and the processes of festivals by presenting the relationship among the members of various religions in the early period of Islamic history.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To gain knowledge about the historical background of the relationship among the members of different religions by taking into consideration the early politic history of Islam. PO-3 Apprehend the belief systems, historical development and process of human actions based on faith and religion within a global scale; appraise, analyze, examine these issues and generate solutions to problems with an unbiased, objective, scientific and ethical comprehension.
PO-4 Follow, interpret and discuss the developments in religious and faith-based tourism and develop scientific solutions with interdisciplinary and holistic approach.
PO-7 Demonstrate and apply comprehensive knowledge of the history of religions in the development of religious and faith-based tourism and in improving contribution of stakeholders to social peace, intercultural communication, and tolerance in the tourism sector.

LO-2 To be able to consider how Islam in general, and the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad in particular, treated to the people of other religions. Course Contents
The content of this course is the historical background of relations with members of different religions in the first period Islamic political history, especially the Qur'an and Hz. The approach of Islam to members of different religions, including Muhammad, the religious understanding and lifestyles of members of different religions that stand out in the birth and spread of Islam.
