Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to examine the importance of hygiene and sanitation practices and to equip students with the knowledge they will use in business life, no matter what field they work in.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Recognize the laboratory environment. Can use laboratory tools and equipment. Can understand the error in the test results. PO-3 Registers, prepares the test materials and tests under the supervision of responsible physicians.
PO-6 Recognizes clinical examination, imaging devices and surgical instruments and supports the veterinarian during the safe use of these devices.
PO-12 Recognizes and uses the scientific knowledge.
Examination
LO-2 Can recognize laboratory materials and equipment. Can comprehend the error in test results. Can explain the working mechanisms of laboratory instruments and tests. PO-10 Assists the physician in applications (non-invasive drug and vaccine applications) about prevention, control and treatment of diseases.
Examination
LO-3 Can apply laboratory tests.Can take laboratory safety precautions. Can use laboratory cleaning equipment. PO-11 Carries out all kinds of applications planned by the veterinarian.
PO-19 Takes the necessary responsibility to master commercial and business security concepts and situations that threaten the job security.

Course Contents
This course covers the importance of hygiene and sanitation, the relationship between sanitation and microorganisms, sanitation applications in various food processing areas, disinfectants and disinfection methods, water hygiene, personnel hygiene, hygiene of enterprises, management of sanitation processes.
