Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to prepare undergraduate students for these subjects by emphasizing the subjects and concepts related to science that are planned to be taught in primary school science lessons.

LO-1 PO-1 Being knowledgeable about teaching programs, teaching strategies, methods and techniques, and measurement and evaluation.
PO-2 Have knowledge about evaluating limits accuracy, reliability and validity from nature of the source of information.
PO-3 To satisfy the needs of students ability to recognise concepts and relationship between concepts related to the field.
PO-4 Ability to explain aims, principles, vision, mission, structure and functioning of Turkish education system, classroom management approaches and concepts related to education.

The content of this course, the subject and principles of natural sciences, the basic concepts of science, the place of science among other sciences, its historical development, the aims of science teaching, general information about science subjects, their properties and their daily life equivalents and uses.
