Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to develop primary school students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, to gain knowledge about the methods and techniques that can be used in this process, and to develop vocabulary and comprehension skills.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Define the methods and techniques that can be used in teaching Turkish. PO-7 Evaluates the subjects of the courses given within the framework of basic knowledge in the field of Primary School Teaching with their methods, techniques and features and transforms them into knowledge.
PO-16 Applies the most appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques, taking into account the developmental characteristics of the students, their individual differences, the characteristics of the subject area and their achievements.

Course Contents
This course covers the subjects of reading, writing, speaking, listening and comprehension skills, text types, reading and technology, teaching the main idea, and the introduction of the primary school Turkish curriculum.
