Course Contents |
Establishing a number system, natural numbers, operations on natural numbers, numbers with different bases, integers, multipliers and multiples, divisibility rules, LMIC and EBOB concepts and applications; Ratio, proportionality concepts and applications; Real numbers, exponential and radical multiplicities, fractions, decimal notations, percentages; Rational and irrational numbers; Teaching clusters and basic concepts related to clusters (organizing the course content, using appropriate teaching materials and strategies, etc.); Student knowledge on these subjects (understanding and interpreting student thinking about concepts, knowing student difficulties, mistakes, misconceptions and reasons). |
