Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to explain the scope of out-of-school learning, teaching science in out-of-school environments, and teaching methods and techniques suitable for out-of-school learning environments.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explains the scope of out-of-school learning. PO-2 Having the knowledge about the nature, source, limit, accuracy, validity and reliability of knowledge
PO-19 Establishing personal and institutional interaction in order to create and maintain a safe school environment.
PO-23 Actively participating in artistic and cultural activities.
PO-25 Planning professional projects and activities for the social environment in which lives with a sense of social responsibility, and implements.
Examination
LO-2 can define the main features of out-of-school learning environments. PO-1 Having the knowledge of teaching programs, teaching strategies, measurement and assessment methods related to the field.
PO-6 Recognizing Science Program prepared by Ministry of Education and ability to implement this program.
PO-10 Taking responsibility for individual and group tasks and efficiently fulfill the task.
PO-18 Having sufficient awareness of environmental protection and occupational safety.
Examination
LO-3 Can choose the teaching methods that are most suitable for different out-of-school environments. PO-1 Having the knowledge of teaching programs, teaching strategies, measurement and assessment methods related to the field.
PO-17 evaluates knowledge and skills acquired in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Education critically and uses them in solving problems.
PO-18 Having sufficient awareness of environmental protection and occupational safety.
