Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine the textbooks and curriculum approved by the Ministry of National Education in the subject area.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain the features that should be in a textbook. PO-5 Applying the appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques, taking into account the characteristics of the subject area, developmental properties and learning patterns of students who are at the second grade of elementary education.
PO-7 Ability to develop appropriate materials to the subject area and needs of students.
PO-13 Using the effective ways of attaining knowledge.
Examination
LO-2 Can establish the relationship between physical-visual-language expression-educational design of a textbook. PO-2 Having the knowledge about the nature, source, limit, accuracy, validity and reliability of knowledge
PO-3 Having the sufficient level of knowledge about Science and Technology Teaching in order to meet the needs of students
PO-7 Ability to develop appropriate materials to the subject area and needs of students.
Examination
LO-3 can analyze a textbook according to its physical-visual-language expression-educational design features. PO-7 Ability to develop appropriate materials to the subject area and needs of students.
PO-15 Having the sufficient level of foreign language knowledge in order to monitor foreign resources about his/her field.
PO-17 evaluates knowledge and skills acquired in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Education critically and uses them in solving problems.
PO-25 Planning professional projects and activities for the social environment in which lives with a sense of social responsibility, and implements.
