Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to present the features that distinguish tall buildings from others and the basic information in this field with examples.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can define tall building. PO-1 Recovery adequate knowledge in the field of mathematics, science and civil engineering; ability to use theoretical and applied information in these areas to model and solve Civil Engineering problems.

Course Contents
This course covers general information about tall buildings, historical development of skyscrapers, flooring systems, resistance of systems to horizontal loads, super-high and mega-tall buildings, Turkish skyscrapers, calculation of wind loads.
