Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide information about the definition and importance of children's literature, the importance of children's books, the features that should be found in children's books and the selection of books.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can give information about the history of children's books in the world and in Turkey. PO-3 Establishes a connection between Primary School Teaching and field disciplines.
PO-7 Evaluates the subjects of the courses given within the framework of basic knowledge in the field of Primary School Teaching with their methods, techniques and features and transforms them into knowledge.

his course covers the development of children's literature in the world and in Turkey, the importance of children's books, the features that should be found in children's books, qualified and unqualified children's books and their effects on the development of children.
