Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to give detailed information about biocatalyst immobilization and their applications in different fields of biological sciences and industry.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can use and develop immobilization methods and apply them in different fields of industry and biological sciences. PO-1 Develop advanced theoretical and applied knowledge in the field, depending on undergraduate and graduate qualifications.
PO-2 Can make connections between different disciplines and sub-fields that their field is related to by using their expert knowledge and skills, work in harmony in research groups.
PO-3 Can closely follow national and international developments in the field of chemistry.

Course Contents
In the course content, immobilization methods of enzymes, organelles, cells, and coenzymes, characterization of immobilized biocatalysts, applications of immobilized biocatalysts in industry, analysis, applications in medicine, and basic research will be explained in detail.
