Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the concepts of fair play and ethics; to recognize the importance of ethical principles in sports environments; to learn the historical development of fair play, its national and international applications, and its reflections across various fields of sport; and to acquire the ability to make ethical decisions and apply them within sporting contexts.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Understands the definition and importance of fair play and ethics. PO-13 Acquires theoretical knowledge in sports management and organization and can apply it in the sports industry.

LO-2 Analyzes the historical development of fair play and its applications in different cultures. PO-8 Gains knowledge in sports psychology, leadership, and motivation and can apply this knowledge while working with athletes.

Course Contents
This course includes the definition, scope, and historical evolution of fair play; the introduction and activities of organizations related to fair play; the connection between the Olympic movement and fair play, along with their shared values; reflections of fair play principles across different sports disciplines; applications of fair play at various levels and the challenges encountered; ethical issues encountered in sports and proposed solutions; the influence and responsibilities of the media and spectators regarding fair play; and the teaching of knowledge aimed at developing and implementing fair play awareness in educational institutions.
