Objectives of the Course
The main aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the sources and effects of stress on athletes and the methods of coping with these effects. In addition, ways to increase psychological resilience will be emphasized and students will gain skills to cope effectively with stress.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Understand the definition, types and psychological and physiological effects of stress on the individual. PO-13 Acquires theoretical knowledge in sports management and organization and can apply it in the sports industry.

LO-2 To be able to identify and analyze the sources of stress encountered in daily life. PO-8 Gains knowledge in sports psychology, leadership, and motivation and can apply this knowledge while working with athletes.

Course Contents
It covers what stress is, different types of stress and their effects on the individual, the effects of stress on mental and physical health, stress sources encountered in daily life and their analysis, cognitive and behavioral strategies, relaxation techniques and time management, definition, importance and ways to increase resilience, principles of positive psychology and its effects on individual well-being.
