Course Contents |
The definition of motivation, its importance and its applicability in sports; includes intrinsic and extrinsic motivation elements, the evolution of the concept of leadership, different leadership styles and the role of leadership in the sports environment, methods of increasing the motivation of athletes, goal setting and self-efficacy development strategies, communication within the team, group cohesion and the effect of the leader on the team, methods of athletes coping with stress and anxiety and the role of the leader in this process, ethical leadership principles and the promotion of ethical behavior in the sports environment. |
