Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide students with scientifically-based knowledge and skills to enhance athletes' performance and optimize recovery processes; to enable them to plan training loads, apply recovery methods, and effectively use performance assessment techniques. |

Course Contents | ||
This course covers the concept and criteria of performance in sports, the relationship between training load and performance, the physiological and psychological foundations of the recovery process, types, causes, and management of fatigue, recovery strategies (passive, active, and combined methods), the importance of sleep and sleep patterns, the impact of nutrition and hydration on recovery, physiotherapy and massage techniques, the effects of ergogenic aids on performance and recovery, performance analysis using technological tools such as GPS and heart rate monitors, the individualization and tracking of recovery processes, as well as performance test protocols and evaluation. | ||
