Objectives of the Course
This course aims to develop students' understanding and application skills of modern training methodologies by examining the latest developments and current issues in the field of training science. Topics such as new strategies to improve sport performance, training programming techniques and the impact of technology on training science are covered. In addition, training methods specific to the special needs of athletes and different sports are also examined. In this way, students gain the ability to follow the latest research and applications in training science and gain the competence to lead in future coaching and sport science practices.

LO-1 To be able to follow the latest developments and current issues in the field of training science. PO-13 Acquires theoretical knowledge in sports management and organization and can apply it in the sports industry.

LO-2 To be able to develop strategies to improve sport performance by understanding modern training methodologies. PO-3 Can effectively carry out data collection, analysis, and reporting processes related to sports sciences.

Recent developments and current issues in the field of training science are critical for understanding modern sport and training approaches. In this field, modern training methodologies offer innovative strategies to optimize athletes' performance. New strategies to improve sport performance include scientifically based practices to enhance success in individual and team sports. Training programming techniques allow to create structured and effective training plans tailored to athletes' needs. The impact of technology on training science, ranging from measurement devices to analysis software, offers significant opportunities to improve athletes' performance and reduce their risks. Training methods that address the specific needs of athletes aim to improve performance and prevent injuries by taking into account individual differences. Training approaches specific to different sports branches enable athletes to achieve success with training programs planned in accordance with the specific requirements of each sport branch.
