Objectives of the Course | |||||
The main purpose of this course is to teach the basic principles of talent selection in sports and to introduce the tests used in talent selection. Students learn to analyze physical development in children, talent selection criteria according to different sports branches and talent selection models in Turkey and other countries. |

It covers the teaching of talent selection and its importance in sports, basic principles in talent identification, new approaches in talent selection, talent identification methods and current tests, talent selection processes and national/international studies, effective elements in sports performance, talent identification criteria in various sports branches and frequently used test models (motor performance, aerobic, anaerobic, psychological tests). | ||
