Specific Admission Requirements

In our country, it is necessary to be successful in YGS and LYS elective examination for entrance to universities. Access to undergraduate programs is only based on the score from this examination. The students send their preference forms to the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) according to the scores they get in the exam result. OSYM takes all applicants, groups applicants according to points, places scores from highest to lowest, lists all existing programs according to preferred score, and places students in one of their preferred programs. The selection of foreign students to enter universities in our country is done with a central exam called Foreign Student Examination (YÖS). Documents required for registration; 1 - High school and balanced school diploma, 2 - Placement result certificate made by ÖSYM.

Specific Arrangement For Recognition of Prior Learning

The process of recognition of the previous student in Turkish higher education institutions is still in its infancy. For this reason, the recognition of the previous student in all programs of Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University has not been fully started. However, the exemption exam is held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer and English which are included in the training plans of the programs. Students who think that they provide the expected learning outcomes from these courses have the right to take the exams made. Those who are successful in the examinations are exempted from the relevant degree in the course schedule.
