VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF NEVŞEHİR / ACCOUNTING AND TAX PRACTICES

History

Nevsehir University, Vocational High School, Higher Education Council, the General Assembly meeting of the Board dated March 24, 2000, amended by Law No. 2880 Law No. 2547 has been established pursuant to 7/d-2. Nevsehir University, Vocational High School of Accounting and Tax Practices Program in the normal formal education in 2002 - 2003 academic year, 2005-2006 academic year began in the second instruction. Education language is Turkish.


Qualification Awarded

The program is available (for a total of 120 ECTS) have successfully completed all courses and at least 2.00 on a 4.00 undergraduate GPA are awarded to students who achieve.

Specific Admission Requirements

In our country, universities are required to be successful in the selection examination for entry to YKS. Pre-entry undergraduate programs without examination or by passing to the point where it is possible to TYT. Students, according to their score as a result of examination with or without an examination to enter in the application of the transition section sorting preferences, preferred forms, student selection and placement center (SSPC) sent. SSPC, an institution affiliated with YÖK. Specific Arrangement For Recognition of Prior Learning

The Turkish higher education institutions in the process of recognition of prior learning at an early stage. For this reason, recognition of prior learning, Nevsehir University and is not fully initialized. However, plans for training programs for their classes in English 1 and English 2 exemption exam is held at the beginning of the academic year. This course provides the expected learning outcomes of students who have the right to take the exams. Fall semester students who are successful in taking the examination in English I and English II Language courses are exempt from the spring semester.


Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Profile of The Programme

Accounting and Tax Practices Program is a preliminary accounting staff conducts a training plan to educate students. The program includes core courses related to the accounting profession, and general issues. In addition to compulsory courses the curriculum offered students the chance to choose elective courses according to their preferences are. The basic objective of Accounting and Taxation, is taken as the theoretical knowledge relevant to the profession and identify problems that can implement a real business environment, use of modern financing techniques, which is intertwined with basic accounting knowledge of accounting, as well as tax law, business law, commercial law, etc. knowledge, computer skills, foreign language, such as winning a variety of equipment to train graduates of associate degree. Accounting and Tax Applications Program, educates students to be employed in many areas of accounting is used. Also provide job opportunities for internships in the program where the future is ensured that the training places.

PO-9 The decision making problems in real life students, Modelling using linear programming techniques, using the simplex and transportation to solve problems and gain skills to interpret the results obtained provide the technical and economical aspects.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Graduates of this program, KPSS'den (Associate Degree Graduates Examination) to obtain the required score may be assigned as a clerk in the case of public institutions. Graduates usually a certified public accountant or public accountant offices, private sector (factories, companies, etc.). The accounting department, some banks (Public Bank) operation can work units.


Access to Further Studies

Candidates who successfully complete the associate's degree and training, they gain vertical transfer exam and licensing programs in relevant areas, these programs can attend classes.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Each student must make the beginning of term and final exam, register for classes at least 70% of the courses, applications must be continued for at least 80%. Students for each course at least one midterm and final exam are subjected. Success grade, midterm exam (as the midterm grade homework, laboratory exams, quizzes, etc. can be evaluated in the scores obtained from measuring instruments) contributed 40%, 60% in the form of contribution to the final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Final exam are required to obtain at least 45 points. A student (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) has received a letter grade, students are considered successful from that course. (DC) and (DD) notes that successful conditional notes. DC or DD grade in a course where the student to be successful you must be at least 2.00 cumulative grade point average.


Graduation Requirements

Deparment to successfully complete all the courses available in the program (120 ETCS) to pass to obtain a CGPA of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale and must successfully complete the internship.

Facilities

Vocational educational activities in our school 1 associate professor, 3 assistant professors, 25 lecturers carried out. And the projection is carried out in classrooms with a seating capacity of 40-100 courses in our program. Four computer labs in our school is being used efficiently. In addition, the program which is open throughout the day students can benefit from free internet lab.
