Students who successfully complete all of the courses available in the program (for a total of 120 ECTS) and achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are awarded an associate degree in LABORANT AND VETERINARY HEALTH. |

Turkish students are placed in the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program according to the order of preference in the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score type made by the Student Selection & Placement Center (ÖSYM). Foreign students are accepted to the program as a result of the evaluation of their direct applications to the university. |
Based on the principle of lifelong learning, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University recognizes the courses taken at another institution before and exempts them from graduation credit if the learning outcomes of these courses are compatible with those of the program registered at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. The compatibility of learning outcomes and exemption issues are decided by the School Board in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. |

Graduates who successfully complete the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Associate Degree Program can work as assistant technical personnel in private veterinary hospitals, clinics and laboratories, as well as in many related institutions within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, by gaining the title of technician. In addition, they can find a place for themselves in private farms or as auxiliary staff in poultry, cattle (meat-milk), sheep breeding and feed industry. Moreover, they can establish their own workplaces with the new knowledge they have acquired. |
Students who graduate from the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program must take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in order to continue their undergraduate education from the 5th semester of formal education or open education undergraduate programs. |
