Turkish Teaching to Foreigners Master’s Degree Program in the 2014-2015 academic year, Nevsehir, Haci Bektas Veli University Institute of Social Sciences under Department of Turkish Language Education established and graduate students began to accept. Turkish is the language of instruction. |
Students successfully completing the program of Turkish Language Education (Turkish Teaching to Foreigners) in the field of MSc (Master of Science) degree is given. |

The primary and reserve candidates are admitted based on the average of the points in bachelor's degree in the relevant fields for master’s degree program (Grade Point Average), scores on ALES (Test for Postgraduate Education) and on a foreign language proficiency test . Required Documents for Registration; 1- Bachelor’s diploma, 2- Original copy of ALES test result, 3- ID card 4- Original copy of a foreign language proficiency test result ( ÜDS, KPDS, YDS etc.) 5- Certificate of Military Status 6- CW. |
The recognition of previous learning in the higher education institutions in Turkey is still in the process of being implemented; therefore, the recognition of previous learning in all of the departments in Nevşehir University has yet to be implemented. |
The program is available (total 90-120 ECTS) to successfully complete all the courses on a 4.00 weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 to achieve. Chapter or associated other parts of the graduate programs available in the course at least 120 ECTS course area and all have successfully completed over 100, at least 70 weighted grade point average has been achieved, and on the subject in an area of their thesis selected before a jury successfully defended the students of Turkish Language Education (Turkish Teaching to Foreigners) in the field of MSc (Master of Science) degree is given. |
Our program consists of academics and experts in the field are carried out with the necessary course work. Objective students of analysis, synthesis and assessment, scientific research methods using the original work to produce what they know to transfer knowledge and skills with a graduate degree as a law that allows all the powers and responsibilities of individuals carrying the train; students will encounter later in professional examinations to be successful, both public and private sector experts in Turkish Teaching to Foreigners (teacher / lecturer) continued the work is to enable a competent way. |

Graduates of this program, foreign language score etc. provide the conditions in the case of Turkish education centers of universities can work as a lecturer. At the same time can make an academic career. |
Students who have completed their master's degree candidates and take notes from ALES exam provided that they have sufficient English language skills can study in graduate programs. |

Students have to sit two tests, the prior being called the midterm and the latter being called the final exam at the end of either term. The midterm exam has a weight of 40 % while the final one has a weight of % 60. All the tests are assessed on 100 point scale. Students who have got (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) or (CC) in a course are considered successful. |
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary that a student complete courses total 120 ECTS credits by getting a grade point average of at least 70 points out of 100 and finish his/her thesis. |

In Department of Turkish Language Education research and training activities conducted by 2 Professor, 7 Assistant Professor and 1 Research Assistant. In the institute all electronic (computer, projector and internet) course grades are made with hardware. |
